Florence, 02 December 2016: Menarini pharmaceuticals demonstrates a positive trend in the first 10 months of 2016, with 250 new employees in Italy and 230 around the world.
The average age of the new employees is 29. The new hires are 60% male and 40% female and all of them are highly qualified with degrees or technical diplomas, and they join a total of over 16,000 staff in 130 countries around the world. In Italy, Menarini has manufacturing sites, research centres and offices in Florence, Pisa, Milan, L’Aquila, Pomezia, Bologna and Rapolano Terme (Siena).
The employment horizon within the Florentine pharmaceuticals company is very broad, from production of extremely high-quality medicinal products in 15 sites in various countries to research in oncology and new technologies in the field of vaccines.
The company will continue to look for qualified personnel for its head office in Florence, but also for the other manufacturing sites, research centres and offices in Italy, such as L’Aquila, Pisa, Milan, Pomezia, Bologna and Rapolano Terme (Siena).
“In the last few months we have acquired a chemical plant in Lombardy, called Lodichem, which we are relaunching; we have created VaxYnethic in Tuscany, a competitive joint venture which develops innovative technologies for the production of vaccines; we have strengthened our branches and offices around the world; and we have signed research contracts with leading global companies.
